Internship Description:
The Grey Summer Internship program is a unique ten-week opportunity, beginning in June 2019, to work hands on within one of Grey’s dynamic departments. Interns may be chosen to work within one of the following areas: Project Management, Creative, Strategy, Marketing Sciences, Technology, and Commerce. During your ten weeks you will assist a team on a variety of projects and will have the opportunity to interact with world-class professionals who are experts in their chosen field. Over the course of the summer, interns will also work as a team teams on a special project that they will present to leadership at the end of the program.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in providing strategic voice for clients across all platforms – web, social, mobile, tablet, email, guerilla, etc.
• Participate in new business opportunities
• Develop out-of-the box thinking that inspires the team and impacts the creative product
• Synthesize information to provide thoughtful and well-written conclusions on which to develop a marketing and branding plan for the client
• Partner with Marketing Sciences to present measurement reports, key findings, and insights, and propose actionable recommendations to clients
• Provide insight generation and development
• Compile/conduct research for client teams as needed, which may include competitive data, emerging opportunities, and consumer insights
Qualifications
• Must be currently enrolled in a BA program as a Junior or Senior
• Must possess a keen eye for innovation
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills - able to work in an autonomous environment
• Proven planning/strategy background and strong consultative skills
• Proactive, creative problem solving
• Demonstrated passion for the industry by keeping up with latest news, trends, etc.
• Organization and follow-up skills
