MullenLowe Winston-Salem is seeking a Strategy intern.
Making copies, busywork, coffee runs - these are some of the things you'll have absolutely no experience with as part of MullenLowe's Summer Internship Program. Because you'll be doing real work. Real, client-paid-for, heading-out-into-the-world-to-catch-attention-and-change-minds work. And you'll be doing it with some of the most talented people, at one of the biggest-name agencies, in the business.
MullenLowe's strategy team believes the most successful brands are useful, likeable, and interesting. So we position our clients to become magnets in culture, not just mirror it. We look to champion a purpose, build brand relevance, penetrate consumer indifference, and become an important part of everyday lives.
As a strategy intern, you will:
• Participate in strategy brainstorms that deliver ideas for prospective clients.
• Assist in the creation of pitch decks to be shared with prospective and existing clients.
• Uncover insights and business opportunities for target audiences and client brands/products.
• Help manage and execute competitive analysis for client brands and category communications.
• Support the strategy team in day-to-day tasks and requests.
Participants must:
• Be enthusiastic, optimistic, future-oriented, and brave.
• Have knowledge and understanding of the Millennial cultural landscape (art, music, food, etc.).
• Be in tune and aware of brand movements, trends, gaps, etc.
• Keep up with trends in marketing/branding/advertising.
• Be pursuing a degree in a field/discipline related to business or communications.
MullenLowe's 2019 Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship running from June 3 to August 9. To apply, you must be a member of the college class of 2019 or 2020, or a current graduate school student.
Please do not reach out to our employees regarding applicant status. We will contact you directly no later than May 1, 2019, if we would like to move forward with your candidacy.
For any questions regarding your application, please reach out to interns@mullenlowe.com.
