Executive Director, ShopBAZAAR
OVERVIEW
• Responsible for the overall performance and management of the business with full P&L responsibility
• Oversees a team of 8 and several agencies
E-COMM & DEVELOPMENT
• Manage all aspects of ShopBAZAAR’s business planning, content strategy and development, online marketing, website design, web analytics and technologies.
• Oversee content and merchandising team on seasonal buys and content franchise development. Advise on designer and retailer partnerships and collabs.
• Manage and direct evolve marketplace and affiliate strategy
• Drive dev team to explore new conversion driving enhancements well as stay informed of ecommerce trends which can positively affect this.
• Review and approve all dev and third party proposals and maintain accountability of teams
• Maintain partner relations at a high level and stay informed on partner sales, collaborations and marketing support.
SALES, MARKETING & CONTENT CREATION
• Directly influence the future of SB overseeing content, sales, marketing and all strategic decisions for all aspects of driving revenue to SB.
• Develop and implement strategies to deliver consistent revenue growth through e-commerce, affiliate and branded content.
• Manage the media plan for brand marketing of the site
• Email & Performance Marketing:
◦ Manage agencies and in-house asset creation to drive all elements of email and performance marketing
◦ Work closely with Editorial Director to map out content and email communication strategy and day to day calendar
• Branded Content Programs in Coordinate with Ad Sales
◦ Attend relevant sales calls with team and participate in presentations and follow up when needed.
◦ Manage the marketing team and assist in ideation and organization of branded content programs related to ShopBAZAAR and
• Develop growth strategies with the management team
• Establish both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting
TEAM / ADMIN
• Manage ShopBAZAAR team members’ contributions and job duties
• Manage monthly goals and projections and hold team accountable
• Keep team informed on relevant Bazaar initiatives and news from sales meeting and management conversations.
