UX Researcher
I. Job Summary
Major goals and objectives.
Meredith is looking for a UX Researcher to represent our users throughout the design process of our digital products. This person will contribute directly to the user research for sites like People.com, Allrecipes.com, Realsimple.com, MarthaStewart.com and many more. They would bring skills as a usability expert and researcher to ensure that the needs of our end users, advertisers, product, and editorial teams are being incorporated to drive customer engagement across our brands and digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Drive stakeholder, customer, and end user research to inform and validate product design decisions for Meredith’s websites and apps.
Understand and master user needs and wants and collaborate with the UX and Product team to ensure they are being fulfilled.
Ensure that a cohesive interaction design system permeates the Meredith Digital experience to enhance efficiency and usability of our products.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and experience
Experience:
• 3+ years as an user researcher for mass-market Web and Mobile products
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong user experience skills including user research, usability testing, and interaction design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to provide samples of work that show both complex and creative UX solutions and research strategy and execution.
• Knowledge of the field of human-computer interaction, experimental design, observational and field methods and data analysis.
• End-to-end experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting).
