Job Summary
The Sales Support Representative is the primary point of contact for customers, in the absence of sales force. The SSR provides sales administration and coordination support for the overall sales effort.
Job Description
• Assist in pre-sale planning activities
• Assist in post-sale expediting and follow-up activities
• Coordinate sales project activities
• Act as liaison and coordinator with other departments, outside vendors, and customers
• Coordinate/track product and service installation process when needed
• Train customers on less complex products/services
• Share knowledge of products/services and overall sales process (lead generation through billing)
• Provide basic to moderately complex sales quote support consulting.
• Assist in pre and/or post sales consulting activities
• Assist with sales support project activities.
• Manage Sales and Service Management questions and problems.
• Act as a sales support liaison and coordinator with other departments, vendors and customers.
• Create reports, perform basic account analysis and make pricing recommendations.
• Resolve routine problems and concerns.
• Verify customer contact information
• Research/determine product availability per location
• Develop standard proposals based on product qualification
Qualifications
• Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• 2 - 3 years related experience in specific area or equivalent.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Ambitious, proactive and solution-obsessed.
• Phenomenal collaborator and facilitator of collaboration.
• Takes responsibility and ownership for his/her work.
• Identifies opportunities and potential problems, addressing them effectively and efficiently.
