Job Summary
The National Sales Executive manages company accounts while building relationships with key personnel. The National Sales Executive works within national accounts to secure all business opportunities, uses creative and thorough knowledge of sales processes and techniques to provide innovative ideas for business growth. The NSA drives new external business through collaboration, networking and relationship building.
Job Description
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Achieve sales goals
• Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
• Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
• Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
• Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
• Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date with new product launches to be and be able to articulate available services to customers
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 to 7 years of related experience
• Strong Communication skills with the ability to communicate in many different techniques. Verbal, writing, and presentation
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work on several new accounts/leads simultaneously
• Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills
• Analytical skills with experience solving complex problems
• Ability to travel as required for the position
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s Degree or equivalent education and 10+ years related experience and 3+ years supervisory/leadership experience
• Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
