Job Description
Job Summary: Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix is currently seeking a qualified person to oversee all activities related to Maintenance including preventative maintenance, electrical, paint, carpentry, landscape, pest control, and water quality. As the maintenance manager, you play a vital role in ensuring the best service to our guests on a daily basis.
Job Duties:
• Oversee and ensure the success of the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department
• Schedule, prioritize, and oversee progress of projects and goals
• Oversees the work order process, including, placing vendor bids for materials, selecting vendors and preparing requisitions
• Follow, enforce and document all State of Arizona and Maricopa County Health requirements as it relates to maintenance and water quality
• Performs frequent daily site inspections of ongoing work and for any needed repairs
• Budgeting and maintaining of department operating expenses, capital expenditures, and labor to include accurate monthly financial forecasting and annual budgeting
• Assists with capital projects as assigned
• Demonstrate and continually train the Six Flags Mantra of providing Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
• Complies with and ensures maintenance operating procedures as outlined in the manufacturer manual
• Provide a work environment that demonstrates leadership, cooperation, policy enforcement, safety, communication and motivation
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and all Park and Company policies and procedures
• Keep all records and documentation updated daily, accessible and organized
• Perform Park Duty Manager role as assigned
• All other duties assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• CPO Certified or in process of being certified
• Valid Driver's License
• 18 years of age or older
• Must possess five years prior supervisory experience in a related field
• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Ability to perform all job duties including the ability to access all areas of the park, ability to life/carry up to 50lbs, and capability of bending, squatting, kneeling, working in confined spaces and working at heights up to 100'
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• A working knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory agencies rules and regulations
• Must possess strong leadership and motivational skills with attention to detail
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays
