Reporting to the Product Operations Director, this position is responsible for developing and delivering product solutions training programs to external and internal clients for Elsevier’s premier education products. This position participates in the initial and ongoing support for training development and implementation and is also responsible for the facilitation and presentation of training assets. Services may also include designing customized training plans to further augment on-boarding.
• Adheres to identified work standards and processes and leverages time management, team collaboration, task prioritization, and quality-orientation skills to adapt to a variety of daily challenges and situations.
• Creates and maintains all training and support documentation.
• Responsible for coordinating and conducting Educator Training Webinars
• Conducts research and testing to determine proper escalation or suggested resolution.
• Ensures timely follow-up and adherence to quality and consistency of response to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Provides user feedback to product management, marketing, sales, and support to improve e-product offerings.
The successful candidate will possess these qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related area
• 1-2 years of experience in product training.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems and common software, functionality and settings of multiple browsers.
• MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Zip Software, and using and installing browser plug-ins is required.
• Experience with Common Learning Management Systems and eBook platforms.
• Must be self-sufficient, detail oriented, with concern for quality and accuracy.
• Possesses exceptional troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
• Works to maintain open communication and collaboration with team members and is willing to be trained on new tasks.
• Must be comfortable with multi-tasking, task prioritization, and working in a fast paced environment.
• Passion for assisting customers.
• Some travel may be required.
