Job Summary
The Lead Sales Operations Consultantwill be responsible for managing the analytics, investigation, and sales recognition analysis and reporting for a specific sales region. This person will interface with the sales teams, sales Managers and executive management to report and analyze specifics around the sales recognition process and how it relates to compensation.
Job Description
• Involved in sales reporting, analysis, investigation and training for sales teams for sales segment and how it pertains to incentive compensation
• Work with sales directors, managers and reps to: understand/communicate sales recognition processes, assist with reconciliation of booked sales versus recognized sales versus compensated sales
• Develop Salesforce reporting/dashboards, understand revenue/sales data, sales funnel, and opportunities
• Provide assistance with ad hoc reporting and other team initiatives
• Serve as a liaison for the new hire during the on boarding process
• Make recommendations to enhance productivity, sales revenue and collaboration between HR, operations, sales, marketing, product and finance.
• Ensure sales operations policies/practices are reviewed/revised as technology and business conditions change
• Develop and deliver training to sales teams
• Create very complex reports and account analysis
• Drive account assignment hygiene
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; or 5 years hands on experience in Telecommunication Sales or Project Management; or 5 years of other related experience with reporting and analytics.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong ability to use critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems.
• Be business professional and have experience interacting with all levels within the sales organizations including vice presidents, directors, managers, and individual contributors
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and be very detailed-oriented
• Must be able to facilitate various meetings and have the ability to state objectives, keep members on tasks, focus on next steps, and determine action plans
