Description
The Program Services Team executes sponsored editorial and paid brand content programs for Forbes’ valued advertisers, readers and viewers. The Talent Manager will develop and manage relationships with talent and people Forbes covers or features in content programs, including identifying, negotiating with, securing, and managing top influencers and thought leaders for program participation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage participant outreach including prospecting, pitching, interviewing and onboarding to the project
• Collaborate with editors, project managers, client managers and more
• Define internal and external Forbes standards for participant recommendations, alignment, and feedback
• Build and maintain a list of freelance talent bookers to assist with programs when necessary
• Manage databases of talent and participant options for branded content program execution
• Negotiate and execute talent agreements including pricing and deliverables
• Establish relationships with various talent agencies
• Manage relationships and coordination with talent during content production
• Attend shoots and other production events as needed
• Identify relevant potential talent examples for program pitches to advertisers and RFP responses
Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience in managing, booking and working with talent for digital, TV, film and/or events
• Executive thought leadership relationship management experience a plus
• Adept at learning and using a variety of project management and other collaborative tools
• Highly organized and able to work well independently within a dynamic, complex, collaborative environment
• Solutions-oriented and a proactive problem-solver
• Clear, professional and effective communicator
• Service-oriented in understanding and proactively supporting client needs
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
