Are you looking for your next big career opportunity? The Independent Assurance Services team is looking for an engaging, insightful, problem-solver that is knowledgeable and passionate about the Bose business to join our team as an Enterprise Risk Management Process Manager.
The Enterprise Risk Management Process Manager is responsible for facilitating risk management processes including identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring and reporting critical risks across the company. This role will work closely with Bose senior leaders to deeply understand Bose business strategies, dynamic market conditions and current regulatory trends to identify existing and emerging risks and opportunities. This is an extremely collaborative, highly visible role that will interface with key functions around the company to understand risk and ensure risks are strategically managed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide assurance that enterprise risks are identified, effectively communicated, and mitigated within an appropriate time frame to support the Company’s objectives.
• Plan and drive Enterprise Risk Management activities; collaborate cross-functionally on range of risk and mitigation activities (e.g. facilitating enterprise-wide risk assessment exercises, developing and maintaining risk metrics, enabling risk escalation processes, developing a risk resiliency framework, and continuously analyzing the Bose risk universe for correlations and blind spots).
• Lead projects and collaborate with company leaders to identify, assess, prioritize, monitor, and report key strategic, operational, financial and regulatory/compliance risks for various Business Units, Regions and Functions.
• Provide recommendations and facilitate escalation (as necessary) to support the creation, implementation and monitoring of risk response action plans.
• Support the continued development and maintenance of risk registers for company leaders.
• Prepare analytics and provide risk reports, including updates, summaries, and insights for Senior Leadership, including the Risk Steering Committee.
• Maintain current knowledge and understanding of Bose business units and functions. Actively engage with each unit to learn about business strategy, critical operations, and top emerging issues.
• Actively monitor external risk trends and communicate emerging or changing risk conditions.
• Stay current with risk management emerging trends; contribute to the evolution and refinement of an effective Enterprise Risk Management program.
• Partner with Corporate Strategy, Internal Audit, Compliance, Treasury, FP&A, Information Security and other functions to coordinate and collaborate data/ information.
• Perform other special projects as requested.

• Advanced business, company and industry knowledge
• Strong strategic thinking, organizational view, and problem-solving skills
• Adept at building strong cross-functional business relationships, plus a passion for learning about the business and risk drivers in the company
• Robust written, verbal, and communication skills with an ability to explain risk principles to a diverse audience, lead productive dialogue and drive a collaborative group towards action
• Compelling presentation skills with high articulation ability, especially executive messaging
• Sound executive presence and ability to engage with Senior Management
• Solid project management capabilities; proven ability to successfully execute multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Detail oriented, extremely organized, completes deadlines with minimal supervision
• Ability to collaborate and perform within a high-performing team environment
• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience and Education:
• 5+ years of experience in finance, business analysis or related fields
• BA/BS degree required; MBA or in pursuit of MBA a plus
