Program Overview:
As a part of the Comcast Technology Internship Program, you will have an opportunity to work on innovative, thought-provoking projects alongside a team of supportive, full-time employees. The 11-week, summer program will also provide you with a chance to gain new technical and professional development skills, participate in a wide range of mentorship and networking opportunities and have a lot of fun along the way!

Department and Role Overview:
The Digital Center of Excellence manages the digital properties for both Residential (Xfinity.com) and Business Services (business.comcast.com) customers. We are focused on engaging consumers and businesses throughout the full end-to-end customer life cycle, from sales, through to customer onboarding and ongoing account management. It is an entrepreneurial, fast growing team, that creates opportunities to educate, enlighten and whenever possible, delight, both new and existing customers. Our goal is to build long-lasting relationships using enhanced flows, smart features and customer focused solutions to foster trust and loyalty with our entire customer base.
This intern position will offer experience working with the Residential (Xfinity.com) user experience team.

Roles and Responsibilities-This role will support the learn/shop UX team in:
• Designing content updates within the shop CMS templates
• Preparing assets for production
• Supporting senior UX designers in day-to-day design activities
Job Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a United States based college or university
• Graduation date between December 2019 and June 2021, preference on rising seniors
• Major: User Experience, Human Computer Interaction, Digital Media Design, Graphic Design or a related field
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Project/work samples that showcase several recent design projects is required for consideration. Mobile site/mobile phone and/or tablet apps designs a plus.
• Strong understanding of typography, type & image composition, design layout, UI/UX design.
• Proficient use of: Sketch, Invision and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrates solid decision-making skills
• Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in group settings
• Strong interest in the technology, telecommunications and media industries
• Current and future authorization to work in the United States of America
