Job Description
Wynn Resorts is the recipient of more Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Awards than any other independent hotel company in the world. Wynn Las Vegas opened on April 28, 2005 and was once again named the best resort in Nevada on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 “Gold List,” a title received for the tenth time. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 4,750 spacious hotel rooms, suites and villas, approximately 192,000 square feet of casino space, 21 dining experiences featuring signature chefs and 11 bars, two award-winning spas, approximately 290,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 103,000 square feet of retail space as well as three nightclubs, a beach club and recreation and leisure facilities. In addition to two luxury retail esplanades, a Strip-front expansion, Wynn Plaza, is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2018
As an Executive Secretary you will work under the general direction of the Vice President.
Job Responsibilities:
*Utilizing manual or computerized office equipment performs a full range of secretarial duties acting on own initiative.
*Answers telephone calls and handles inquiries in a professional manner; determines how to respond to calls and which calls Executive should handle.
*Drafts responses to routine correspondence and composes communications for routine events.
*Operates general office equipment and personal computers to develop and prepare work.
*Checks and processes expenses reports.
*Schedules appointments and maintains calendar for Executive.
*Reviews and responds to Executive’s emails, as needed
*Arranges meetings and makes travel arrangements for Executive.
*Handles confidential files, materials, correspondence, etc.
*Gathers information to prepare reports, manual, agendas etc.
*Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
*Other duties as necessary.
*Provides specialized administrative support of a non-routine, non-repetitive nature to relieve and assist Executive of complex details and administrative duties (i.e., coordinates and maintains effective office procedures and efficient work flow; establishes and maintains harmonious working relationships with internal and external guests at all levels).
*Interfaces with executive staff ensuring a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
*Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day to day activities of an Executive.
*Performs a wide variety of miscellaneous duties as requested by Executive.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook and Visio
*Make room reservations via OPERA for VIP guests
Job Requirements
*Associated Degree in Business or in related field or equivalent training is required.
*A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible secretarial/administrative work experience preferred.
*Must be 18 years of age or older.
