Job Description
Job Summary: This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the effective use of park labor resources across departments, in order to deliver a superior guest experience and operational excellence. Position will serve as a resource to departments to optimize the availability and assignment of labor based on the dynamic needs of the park.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Labor management system expert and owner of its strategic application to meet labor initiatives
• Actively manage labor resources within and across departments to meet labor needs
• Interface with department management to ensure schedules are completed on a timely basis and optimization of available staff
• Assist with payroll processing and labor forecasting
• Provide analytical support in budget and forecast process and meetings
• Perform key accounting functions related to month end closing process
• Review and analyze schedules to identify and implement opportunities to gain ongoing improvements in labor usage
• Provide labor staffing and scheduling training, guidelines, and advice to departments on effective use of labor optimization tools
• Interface with Employee Services Office as needed to accomplish labor efficiencies goals
• Interface frequently with local departmental and labor optimization staff across parks to share best practices and maximize the effectiveness of programs
• Adhere to all department and company safety policies
• Support the company mantra; friendly, clean, fast and safe service
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
• Accounting/finance degree and/or equivalent experience in an analytical or management role
• Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Products with an emphasis in Access and Excel
• Flexible schedule required including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work productively across various departments
