Description
Position Summary: Provides administrative support to Water Park team. Ensures all documentation, such as attraction release slips, downtime slips, opening safety checklists, and training records are completed accurately and tracked to ensure high safety compliance and adherence to Water Park Safety Competency Policies and DOSH regulations. Enters data and updates trackers such as opening safety checklist errors tracker, operation hours log, paperwork error tracker, training trackers, Attractions capacity sheet, Attractions ride utilization sheet. Completes payroll in Day Force for Water Park. Completes other administrative tasks for Water Park as needed.
Scope and Responsibilities:
• Ensures the following records are completed thoroughly and accurately, and saved for DOSH review:
• Attraction Opening Safety Checklists
• Ride Release Slips and Downtime Slips
• Training Records
• Tracks ride operating hours per the Merlin Ride Safety Competency policy, and informs leadership team of any expired training so the necessary retest or refresher training can be completed.
• Enters all Attractions ride capacity data.
• Completes weekly Ride Utilization Report; works with Maintenance Supervisor and Attractions Manager to ensure all technical downtime and operational accuracy.
• Enters current ride capacity information in monthly KPI business review report for Product Excellence team.
• Checks the following documents for completion and saves in electronic MC files as needed:
• Ride capacity audits
• Ride safety audits
• New hire documents, such as meal waivers, heat illness prevention sign-off, and Attractions status agreements.
• Scans and saves documents as needed, such as First Aid return to work forms, corrective actions, PDPs, etc.
• Completes payroll in Day Force and updates area budget sheets with overage/underage information, training hours, and accruals.
• Supports Water Park team with miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.
• Takes on operational roles when opportunities arise, such as participating as a Lead in the Brick or Treat event.
• Supports Water Park team with tracking and compliance with the Lifeguard Safety Competency policy.
Background and Experience:
Must be in a Team Lead role or higher for at least 6 months. No active corrective actions within last 6 months. Strong performance record and recommendation from current line manager is preferred. Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred. Effective time management skills. Self-motivated and highly organized. Familiar with Outlook & Excel.
MANAGING DIRECTORS AND OTHER GROUP SENIOR MANAGERS
MDs/Senior Managers are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their Business units, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out and that safe working procedures are in place at all locations within their remits and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it.
SITE MANAGERS
Site Managers are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their location, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, as the ‘Responsible Person’ (see the HS001 for definition) they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated
HEADS OF DEPARTMENT
HODs are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their department, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated
ALL OTHER MANAGERS/SUPERVISORS
Managers/supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their team, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees in their teams are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.
EMPLOYEES
Employees are responsible for the safety of themselves, their colleagues and guests (where appropriate), in line with the Group Policy (HS001) and the law. In particular, they must ensure that they follow safe working procedures for all work activities that they undertake and they must not use any tools or equipment for which they have not been trained. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are reported to their line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate.
