Overview and Responsibilities
The Coordinator, Live Action Production supports the Production team in managing all aspects production. The coordinator organizes key information and workflows for original productions from pre-production through wrap & delivery. The Coordinator works closely with production teams and key departments to ensure clear communication of both studio and production needs.
• Assist the Live Action Production Department on all aspects of work.
• Act as liaison between show units and other studio departments on all shows
• Track, log and submit weekly union documents to the appropriate guild (i.e DGA Deal Memos, WGA Notice of Tentative Writing Credits).
• Indoctrinate incoming show unit production coordinators on studio policy and procedures.
• Coordinates Residual Documents with the Residual Department on all union paperwork from show units.
• Maintains department calendar. Tracks all show units’ delivery of required delivery materials.
• Review, corrects/ or approves SAG-AFTRA Contracts. Update cast lists.
• Track all safety documents and injury reports. Inventories and maintains safety supplies of all current productions. Organize safety meetings between the show and Production Safety.
• Perform other tasks as assigned; including assisting Director and Sr Director with tasks, scheduling and on-air production shoots.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 2-4 years related experience
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel
• Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures
• Familiar with SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA reporting documents.
Additional Qualifications
• Understanding production details and nuances
• Experience in scripted primetime network & cable productions
• Meticulous attention to detail required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience working both in production and in a corporate environment is a plus
