Director, Sales Strategic Accounts - Spectrum Enterprise

The Highlights
The Director of Enterprise Sales - Strategic Accounts will be focused on teams dedicated to specific strategic verticals and key named or major accounts. The role will lead a geographically-dispersed team of sales professionals in the development and implementation of various sales strategies and programs to maximize sales revenue for our voice, video, transport, and data solutions. This individual will coach and develop sales team members by preparing performance reviews and evaluations. They will report directly to the Vice President of Sales. This position requires an entrepreneurial drive with the business acumen, experience and leadership skills to instigate positive change and manage growth.
What You Will Do
• Develop and implement strategies and budget to meet or exceed revenue targets, service level, and quality assurance.
• Oversee the development, implementation and continual improvement of processes and procedures to provide cost-effective and efficient sales and service
• Define strategic program for Business Customers
• Coach team members in the skills necessary to achieve excellence
• Interface with Vice President of Sales, Group Vice President and leadership team members to ensure compliance with company-wide goals and objectives
• Provide training support as necessary for internal employees
• Implement Commercial Services product and procedure updates within a specific region
• Attend conferences and meetings as required
• May perform additional duties related to the position as assigned
Required Keys for Success
• Ten or more years of general management experience in a competitive sales environment
• Four or more years as a Sales Manager in a Business to Business Environment emphasizing the Enterprise sector
• Three years of telecommunications, ISP, HSD experience
• Demonstrated history of leadership positions in high-volume, fast-paced environments requiring teamwork, flexibility and change management
• Prior direct experience with Strategic and Major Accounts programs
• Proven abilities in continual process improvement methodologies
• Successful demonstration of strategic, communication and planning skills
• Proven track record in budgeting and resource management
• Strong organizational development and business skills
• Conversant with telecommunications/networking technologies
• Above-average business analysis skills with MS Office tools and Salesforce.com (or similar CRM)
• Working knowledge of PC based software including Windows, MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
• Valid and active State driver’s license and safe driving record
Your Education
• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or university; or equivalent training, education and experience
