Responsible for leading a team of Application Analysts. Providing software applications and hardware support. Handling customer request for hardware and software assistance. Reading, writing, interpretation, and communicating technical and complicated information in a manner in which customers can relate and understand. Specific Duties include:
(1) providing information to the supervisor/manager/director on performance of the team;
(2) utilizing technical knowledge resolve application issues and to guide Application Analysts toward issue resolution;
(3) facilitating, solving work problems and participating in the work of the team;
(4) communicating assignments to the team and individuals based on supervisor/manager/director instructions;
(5) responding to the needs of customers over the phone and provides necessary assistance;
(6) making minor program modifications to correct identified issues within the applications;
(7) documenting steps and developments performed in researching and resolving customer issues;
(8) observing training needs and relay training needs and requests to supervisor/manager/director;
(9) acts as team mentor in a multi-person development team; and
(10) required to be included in the on call rotation for afterhours emergency support.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or related field (or Foreign Equivalent), plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as Lead Analyst/Senior Software Analyst/Software Analyst/Associate Software Analyst. Must have 5 years of experience (can be gained concurrently with above experience) in: (1) Design and development of Multi-tier software applications using C#, WCF, WPF, .net Remoting, Multithreading, Windows/Web services, Serialization, MVC, MVVM , SQL server and SQL Reporting Services; (2) Development of T-SQL scripts and SQL Stored procedures; (3) Root cause analysis with performance Engineering and tuning of Products including setup, installation, configuration, unit testing and bug fixing. Drug testing and background check required. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
