Project Manager - Ad Platforms
I. Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
The Ad Platform Project Manager is responsible for a full range of activities, including planning, leading, organizing and motivating project teams. The Project Manager will perform Scrum Master activities and will work in an Agile methodology environment. This person will also assist the Ad Tech Support team in defining processes, specifications, and requirements for their function as support for the sales and site organizations.
Major responsibilities include:
• Working with multiple Ad Platform Development teams to rollout and maintain features, projects, and tasks.
• Work with the Ad Tech Support and System teams to develop processes to improve their ability to communicate the status of upgrades, projects, and maintenance.
• Tracking and reporting on costs, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Developing contingency plans to bring projects into alignment with cost and schedule commitments.

Ad Platform Development Project Management
• Runs agile ceremonial meetings and assists the team in improving their ticket rollover rate
• Effectively manages and communicates project status, and prepares progress reports
• Manages project risks, issue tracking, and resource availability
• Removes blockers to ensure timely delivery of tasks
• Assists the product team in maintenance of the developer backlog

Ad Tech Support & System Project Management
• Works with the teams to assess their current processes and identify areas for improvement with an eye toward improving overall capacity and turnaround time.
• Guides the team in developing project plans for standardizing documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
• Effectively manages and communicates project status, and prepares progress reports

Team Support
• Schedules, facilitates, and documents meetings for the team
• Supports JIRA Project Administration involving custom, complex projects, workflows, security schemes, custom fields, dashboards and reports configurations
• Performs requirements gathering, business process workflow design, and looks for ways to improve the software and systems already in place

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field. A/BS in Business, Technology or related field. PMP certification preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or other technical capacity overseeing the management, and implementation of customer facing solutions such as web sites, mobile, web applications, or enterprise software.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience using Agile Methodologies.
• Solid experience using MS Office and Atlassian products. Experience with Project Management tools preferred.
• Exposure to and basic understanding of client-side web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Detail oriented and possess exceptional organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and visual presentation communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills in leading resources, resolving conflicts, fostering alignment and gaining commitment.
• Ability to facilitate dynamic meetings and discussions.
• Positive attitude and ability to work under tight time restrictions.
