Director, Advanced Advertising, Automotive - Media
JOB SUMMARY
The Advanced Advertising team is responsible for driving revenue, through the use of data, across all our advanced product, including OTT, SEM, digital, etc.
The Director Advanced Advertising Sales for the Automotive category has responsibility for helping to drive Tier 3 Automotive advertising sales across the enterprise. This individual will work directly with the Divisional, Regional and Market Digital Sales Leads, and other Sales Leadership to provide training, direction, and overall strategy in the automotive category.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Increase Digital Automotive category advertising revenue and share for the all of Spectrum Reach.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales quota for full enterprise.
• Work closely with Auto Sales Managers and account executives to build a strategy and ultimately deliver required revenue goals.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all key category partners.
• Develop, train, and go on tandem calls with sales team to maximize advertising revenue and market share from accounts.
• Solicit key prospective accounts and their agencies directly.
• Have in person contact with the top 30 revenue generating vertical clients and agencies, if involved, at least twice a year.
• Deliver monthly updates on industry trends in group sales meetings.
• Manage and support individual and team sales efforts of Advanced Advertising
• Develop and deliver regular group training on all aspects of the vertical and digital advertising including terms and trends.
• Coach and develop Account Executives on presenting category proposals using current tools (quantitative and qualitative research, geographic targeting, etc.).
• Achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales quota for full enterprise
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 8+ of overall Sales experience with 2+ of distributed leadership experience
• A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in both the digital and Automotive media sales
• Proven track record of inspiring and building client strategy teams.
• Deep knowledge of advertising infrastructure, ad operations, data analytics, yield analysis, advanced Digital media platforms, Interactive Media, DRTV, client & relationship development.
• Excellent organizational skills and analytical skills. Critical thinking, problem solving, and superior customer focus.
• Strong strategic, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, presentation and time-management skills and ability to execute initiatives within the team and company as well as customers.
• Strong influencer with experience working with a distributed sales team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record within Company required standards, and auto insurance
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
