Coordinator, Human Resources
A little bit about our team:
The Warner/Chappell HR team provides strategic people support to the publishing population at Warner/Chappell Music. Human Resources is the hands-on partner for business leaders and provides day-to-day counsel and coaching on employee relations issues, organizational development, performance management and compliance. In addition, we are responsible for delivering the people strategy, talent development, internal mobility opportunities, performance management guidance, learning & development training, health benefit enrollment and compensation function.

You will shine with your strong customer service skills as you interact with all levels of employees to ensure positive relationships. You will learn about the various parts of the music publishing world (Licensing, A&R, Copyright, Royalties, etc.). Our small but mighty team also offers the opportunity to participate in various HR Initiatives and projects.
Here you’ll get to:
• Help us run smoothly by supporting the VP & Sr. Manager of HR
• Provide HR support to 180+ employees in LA, Miami, New York, Nashville, & Utah
• Provide HR support on an as-needed basis for global HR initiatives in our international affiliates
• Update Workday employee data
• Build all HR / Financial reporting documents
• Create a seamless and exciting on-boarding experience for all new hires
• Conduct exit interviews for departing employees
• Create a world-class HR experience for all employees
• Improve processes & programs and ways of working
• Collaborate with the Talent, Comp & Benefits, & HR Ops teams on current & future HR activities
Rockstar candidates have:
• A methodical, detail-oriented, and thorough approach to work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Results-oriented, strong execution and follow up skills
• High organization, multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• A great ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Accountability, critical thinking skills, & confidence when presenting ideas
• High emotional intelligence, and exercise sound judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
• 1 – 2 years of full-time, HR generalist experience
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• B.A. required, Master’s degree in a related field preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Workday is strongly desired
• A love for music
