Job Summary:
The Director, National Client Solutions will be a new business expert, generating advertising revenue through consultative selling directly to New York-based, national, regional and emerging B2C and B2B brand owners in a designated territory and in collaboration with Regional leadership. Your work will encompass our industry-leading portfolio of assets and capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
• Exceed revenue goals, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Identify higher-probability/higher-value companies and individuals as potential new customers.
• Generate sufficient outreach to obtain meetings every week.
• Conduct Customer Needs Assessments (CNAs) resulting in insights and opportunities that lead to proposal submission.
• Communicate strategies for meeting customer needs and collaborate with assigned Account Executive to develop on-strategy proposals.
• Provide insights and project leadership to cross-functional team to prepare for outreach, meetings and provide key deliverables to customer.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the customer's account in cooperation with Creative, Operations, Marketing and Finance staff.
• Manage a pipeline in order to understand business in a data-driven way and effectively self-manage.

Job Qualifications:
Education
• 4-year college degree in a related field.
Work Experience
• 3+ years of progressive sales experience and success using consultative, customer needs analysis methods.
• Demonstrated track record of business-to-business (B2B) sales success.
• Media sales experience preferred.

Other Requirements
• Able to travel outside of the office at least 50% of the time for meetings and industry events.
