Director, In-Park IT Operations
Job Summary:
As the Directory of In-Park IT Operations the role will oversee all facets of technology used to operate a Six Flags theme park. S/he will be deeply engaged in the technology related to day to day operations and the IT support teams.
Responsibilities:
• Manage information technology, computer systems, and networks
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching in park IT employees
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure security of data, network access
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Work with in park teams on annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Qualifications
• Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Extensive background with Cisco networking hardware
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, network administration and network installation
• Hands-on large scale 802.11 wireless experience
• Ability to manage personnel
• Ability to travel 30 to 40 percent
