Job Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Events & Experiential Partnerships will lead and support sales efforts for the iHeartRadio National Tentpole Events, Theaters in NY & LA, iHeartRadio Signature Programs and Custom Events. He/she will be an integral team member in generating sponsorship revenue for the Company - reporting to the VP, Events & Experiential Partnerships.
Required Skills:
• Work to meet & exceed annual sponsorship revenue budget.
• Work closely with and provide support for both local & national groups to help sell Tentpole events, Theaters & custom events to existing clients and top 100 accounts.
• Attend & lead sales meetings where appropriate and help craft internal and external documents, manage internal next steps and client facing decks and LOIs.
• Maintain current knowledge of sponsorship industry landscape, market trends, key category activity across music, sports & entertainment.
• Collaborate with cornerstone departments and cross functional teams, ensuring communication and information flow timely and effectively, and execution of strategy on all projects remains consistent.
• Maintain Salesforce entries for respective accounts and other sales reporting tools as needed.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of sponsorship sales experience for event, music, sports, lifestyle properties or similar position with a focus on brand sponsorships and activation.
• Proven track record in sponsorship and media sales with strong focus on developing corporate partnerships.
• Must possess established relationships with clients, as well as sponsorship and activation agencies in the corporate industry.
• Solution oriented, highly motivated and proactive self-starter who works well as both team member and individual contribution.
• Outstanding organizational skills, ability to follow through, and capable of meeting deadlines while balancing multiple projects and priorities
• Professional presence, astute business sense, and a demonstrated ability of generating sales leads and closing business
• Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
