Project Manager Job Requirements:
Must have End to End, Total Life Cycle Project Management leadership experience. Experience leading (not just managing projects) from the start all the way through completion. Must showcase the full gamut of end to end Project Management Methodology to include Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure. Once this person is identified and hired they will need to step into the role with little coaching or mentoring. Candidate must have very strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
Project Manager with
• Background managing all the PM knowledge areas through the full project life cycle
• IT background sufficient to understand and direct teams through problems
• SDLC understanding and background managing
• Strong leadership ability
• Problem solving skills
• Time management skills
• Project Management Tools (e,g Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, Ganttr)
• PPM Certification is a plus
Project Manager- Position Description
The Project Manager is responsible for achieving a successful implementation of the project using industry standard PM processes. Ensures best-in-class product deployment practices as a competitive advantage for the business. S/He is responsible for: managing cross-functional teams (business stakeholders, App Development and Infrastructure) in the successful deployment of products that are required to support the strategic plan; including development and tracking of schedules; coordination of resources, and communication.
Required Skill Set:
• Facilitates requirements and scope definition. Collaborates with leaders and project team members in translating strategy and vision into actionable programs and projects.
• Validates the plan, ensuring adherence to standards and alignment with goals.
• Works with the Technical Lead to define resources, schedule, goals, reporting and metrics for project implementation.
• Works with the Technical Lead to create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
• Facilitates project teams, manages conflict, and runs efficient meetings
• Proficient with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Conducts periodic briefings/status updates to stakeholders and executive management.
• Ensures that the system is launched on time and meets established goals and objectives that support the financial and competitive goals of the organization.
• Manages and tracks project budget with components that include human resources, suppliers, and general expenses to meet established return on investments per project.
• Maintains and tracks defect lists and manages overall quality of deliverables and Captures and documents lessons learned
