ABOUT ENCORE BOSTON HARBOR
Encore Boston Harbor is a luxury global destination gaming resort that will feature 671 hotel rooms with sweeping views of the Boston skyline and Boston Harbor, ultra-premium spa, luxury retail, high-end dining, and state-of-the-art ballroom and meeting spaces. At a total cost of $2.5 billion, it is the largest private single-phase development in the history of the Commonwealth. Situated on the waterfront along the Mystic River and connected to Boston Harbor, Encore Boston Harbor will include a six-acre park along the water that will feature a harborwalk, an events lawn, public viewing areas, ornate floral displays and retail and dining experiences that overlook the Encore Harbor Walk.

The Encore Boston HarborSecurity Command Center Lead Operatorwill be responsible for supervising SCC Operator activity in a 24/7 operations center. This includes the monitoring of all non-gaming cameras and activities, maintaining security protection, assisting guests/customers and Team Members as needed and maintaining order in the interior and exterior sections of the property. Supervises all emergency and non-emergency requests and dispatches as appropriate. Acts as a clearinghouse for all non-gaming security issues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensures all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
• Must possess a high level of proficiency with CCTV systems and alarms.
• Receive calls for security services and dispatch officers throughout the property, as needed.
• Monitor fire and door alarms and take necessary action, as needed.
• Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, this position may require working varying schedules to reflect the needs of the company.
• Assist Security and Corporate Investigations by providing video documentation of incidents as requested.
• Observes and identifies guests or employee’s suspected of security or criminal violations and providing documentation to investigators.
• Must be able to perform all duties as an SCC Operator and continue to learn the full duties of the SCC manager.
• Must be able to maintain a direct line of communication between SCC staff members and management.
• Verifies that all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls property wide are enforced within the department.
• Contributes to company-wide communication and best practices.
• Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of all property related issues.
• Writes proper reports as needed.
• Responds to surveillance supervision and investigation requests.
• Responds to requests of all other departments when necessary.
• Attends all training classes and seminars as directed.
• Works with safety as a priority and follows department and company safety standards.
• Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.
• Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.

Age, Gaming and Certifications:
21 years of age or above.
Will be required to obtain and maintain a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission
Must be able to acquire and maintain any licensing or active work cards required for this position. Must have or be willing to acquire CPR/AED/First Aid certification
Education and/or Experience:
High school or equivalent degree required.
Requires general computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
• Experienced in working in a supervisory role in a law enforcement, fire services or other emergency command/dispatch center.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
