Description
This is a seasonal entry position starting at $13.50/hour. Shifts may vary depending on Resort operating hours.
Scope and Responsibilities:
1.Coordination: Books and schedules V.I.P. tours guides and tours. The VIP Coordinator must be very familiar with the VIP Program and LEGOLAND park in order to create a personalized experience for VIP Guests. They will act as the main point of contact for VIP Guests prior to their arrival. This position works with the VIP Assistant Supervisor to ensure that VIP Hosts are prepared for their VIP Experiences. Responsible for coordinating behind the scenes experiences as well as tour and host schedules.

Main Responsibilities:
• VIP Sales (both over the phone and day of at the park)
• Point of contact for VIP Guests prior to arrival
• Monitors LLV Bookings/email inquiries and ensures all guests have been contacted within 24 hours
• Maintains revenue spreadsheet
• Scheduling- both VIP Hosts for experiences and VIP Behind the Scenes Experiences
• Maintains accurate and up to date tour materials for VIP Hosts
• Oversees VIP Toy inventory and replenishment
• May be asked to act as a VIP Host (see position title V.I.P. Host), VIP Builder, or Animal Ambassador depending on business needs
• Position may expand to include Cabana and Special Event bookings

Human Resources:As a Park representative, the VIP Coordinator must remain knowledgeable and up to date on policies and procedures, fully and consistently adhering to the standards to ensure VIP Experiences are personalized to each family and VIP Hosts are set up for success..
4.Safety:Remembering that Safety is our #1 priority, a VIP Cooridnator must guide and ensure that park operations are not hindered in any way during tours and that guests meet the age and height restriction of the ride.

Leadership:Serving as an official Ambassador of the Park,a professional demeanor must be maintained at all times. Respect for the individuals, the Park, your fellow team members is imperative. Ownership of in-park etiquette must be displayed at all times. Confidence and preparation of training material is a crucial component to providing a professional and well-trained service team.
6.Administrative:Supports Training & Development with administrative/clerical duties as assigned or needed including but not limited to, filing, computer work, telephone and special projects.
Background and Experience:
• Strong communication skills.

• Experience working directly with guests.
• Organizational and planning skills.
• Self-motivation and demonstrated initiative is imperative.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Preferred Experience
• Minimum 1 year with LEGOLAND California (or similar environment) in guest services, attractions, or events
• Bilingual (Spanish or Mandarin preferred)
• Experience working with children
• Cash handling experience is preferred
• Microsoft Office (Publisher, PowerPoint) preferred
Education:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Physical Demands:
• Up to 12 hours standing/walking may be required for one tour.
• Ability to ride every ride/attraction in the park.
Work Environment:
• Mostly inside; however, there are times when outdoor activity will be required.
Other Job Requirements:
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekend, and holidays to support park operations.
