If you answered yes, then we want you to join our team! Townsquare Media is looking for a Biddable Media Manager (SEM) who will be a core member of our Ignite team. We are seeking an SEM/PPC expert with 2+ years of experience in full-time SEM and paid social campaign development, management, tracking, reporting and optimization experience. The ideal candidate has demonstrated a proven history of excellence in delivery, quality and performance. The Manager will work with our client services team, analytics team and programmatic buyers to develop, manage, optimize and report on paid search, paid social and related digital campaigns.
The role will work directly with Local Planning & Account Management as well as Ad Operations helping to develop tactical executions that align with Local advertising goals and objectives across our 65+ markets in the US. The Biddable Media Manager (SEM) will translate these tactics into physical implementations across multiple search engines. They will also be responsible for day to day management of campaigns as well as identifying opportunities within each campaign to improve performance and take action to improve results. The Biddable Media Manager (SEM) must be very familiar working within Google and Bing interfaces and comfortable developing creative solutions to exceed benchmarks.
Job responsibilities include:
• Directly manage PPC efforts on key accounts, with primary responsibility for planning, strategy, execution, optimization and end-to-end project management
• Create, manage and optimize PPC campaigns on Google Ads, Bing, Facebook and other channels
• Write compelling headlines and descriptions for paid ads according to SEM best practices
• Build and update keyword lists and ad copy and oversee their approval process
• Manage bids and budgets, test and optimize keywords and creative; maintain forecasts and goal metric tracking
• Create and implement tests to achieve actionable results and improve campaign performance
• Analyze and translate data from web analytics into an actionable plans/recommendations
• Ensure that the latest search/social innovations are applied and best practices are employed
• Serve as subject matter expert on monthly client reporting calls and special projects
• Support CS Managers, Leads and Sellers on all SEM issues
• Keep up to date with paid search best practices, bid management systems, keyword development tools and industry research
Skills/
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Finance, or Economics preferred
• 2 + year experience in the paid search and biddable media space
• Direct Response experience preferred but not required
• Social/programmtic buying experience preferred but not required
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and advanced skills in excel – pivot tables, chart making, etc
• PowerPoint and Word advanced skills required
