Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment industry, is seeking a Senior Analyst dedicated to the Rainbow Six Siege franchise. We are looking for someone who is passionate about games and has a deep understanding of our players. This person will be the authority on game data, trends in user behavior, and influence of external events. This person will work with various analytics teams across the organization to create a holistic view of the brand.
Responsibilities:
• Challenge the status quo by developing new insights and bringing fresh perspectives to the Rainbow Six franchise
• Work closely with brand managers to define key metrics, identify trends and opportunities across channels, campaigns and consumer segments, and provide solutions for their analytic and KPI requests
• Measure brand performance, provide data analysis on insights and recommendations to drive effective campaign outcomes against goals, objectives, and spend
• Develop and maintain dashboards based on KPI’s of the business
• Proactively conduct ad hoc analyses based on business questions
• Engage in "root cause" analysis to assess changes in metrics, identify underlying causes and provide recommendations for improvement
• Assess the impact of various initiatives and measure results. Provide recommendations for improvement as necessary
• Assist and build requirements, definition, project scoping, timeline management, and results documentation to ensure great data practices
• Create, manage and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing analytics tools and reporting/analysis platforms including Tableau, SQL and Excel
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering), Master’s preferred
• 5+ years related experience including hands-on expertise in performing and delivering quantitative analyses
• 3-5 years online marketing or game metrics experience
• Demonstrated success presenting complex research data (both qualitative and quantitative) in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action
• In depth knowledge of SQL, Tableau and Excel - experience in programming and in R or comparable statistical modeling tool is a plus
• Experience developing dashboards based on business KPI’s
• Ability to derive meaningful insights from data
• Handle fast-paced and challenging job demands
• Self-motivated and analytically curious
• Strong quantitative skills, and experience utilizing scientific analytic methods, qualitative methods, and quantitative analysis techniques
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
