GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise staff, provide training, oversee and review daily and monthly cash control processes in the Cash Management department.
Support Cash Management Managers in Treasury and Field Operations.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise and provide training on Field Operations and key treasury duties
• Review and approve workpapers of the monthly close process ensuring information is accurate, submitted timely and complies with corporate reporting requirements
• Review and approve monthly bank reconciliations
• Review and monitor daily / monthly banking spreadsheets to ensure accurate reporting
• Review departmental procedures and develop internal controls
• Oversee collection agencies and bad debt recovery processes
• Serve as administrator of online banking systems including establishment of user access, and conducting user audits
• Assist with Internal and External Audit (SOX) requests
• Support Treasury and Field Operations managers by supervising day-to-day operations of cash-related functions, as well as assist with special projects
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration (required)
• Accounting or Finance concentration (preferred)
• Minimum of (4) years of supervisory experience required
• Ability to foster a cooperative environment and build teams
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written
• Keen attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Ability to function in a high-paced environment
• Ability to set and meet deadlines, and support multiple projects
• Working knowledge of relevant Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and practices
• Knowledge of Oracle Financial Software and CSG Billing Systems preferred
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Access
