Associate Manager of Sales Operations/Sales Operations and Planning Analyst, Allure Beauty Box
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Operations and Planning Analyst with a focus on the fast-growing Allure Beauty Box. In this role you will manage supply chain planning, forecasting and analysis, supporting a best in class experience for our box customers. You will support the Strategic Sampling team within the Conde Nast Style Division. You will also interact with the Editorial, Marketing, Legal and Logistics teams.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, has experience working directly with beauty and/or fashion ecommerce planning or forecasting, and can think creatively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must.
The Sales Operations and Planning Analyst will:
• Work closely with the Strategic Sampling team and Associate Manager of Operations to plan and forecast inventory for the Allure Beauty Box, with potential to also work on the GQ Best Stuff Box
• Plan box versions and assortments in collaboration with the supply chain and 3rd party vendors
• Track business performance and KPIs related to inventory and product costs
• Be able to provide data-driven perspective to inform sample procurement
Qualifications & Requirements:
• At least 2 years of full-time work experience in eCommerce merchandise planning/buying, finance, or consulting
• Strong analytical acumen; passion for data and analytics and proven ability to translate numbers into action
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
• Passion for beauty industry and brands
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with tight timelines while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail
• Team player with a “no job is too small” attitude
• 4-year bachelor’s degree
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ecommerc and/or startup experience preferred
