POSITION SUMMARY:
As a key contributor on the Talent Management Team the Manager will work with the Director, Talent Management to ensure that we are building the digital, leadership and management capabilities for Condé Nast employees varying levels within the organization. The Manager, Talent Management is responsible for managing culture programs and projects aimed at creating and sustaining an environment of professional growth and employee engagement and satisfaction at Condé Nast. This role will strategically work with subject matter experts in the business to support the execution of culture milestones and tasks; and that materials to support knowledge transfer are available to our team members. This person will utilize his/her project management skills to move crucial culture initiatives from inception to completion. Additionally, this person will support the rest of the Talent Management team in the creation and facilitation of instructor-led workshops, eLearning and webinars.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and support programs related to our culture and change initiatives including but not limited to: Mentoring, Rewards and Recognition, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, Talent Management and ensure they continue to be current and relevant.
• Develop job aids, instructor-led training, learning activities, tools, reference guides, participant guides, facilitator guides, etc. that speak to social and collaborative learning across multiple business units within the company
• Facilitate instructor-led workshops and webinars
• Manage client expectations appropriately and keep the workstream on schedule and within scope and serve as a point of contact for escalations as needed
• Provide expertise from strategy to design, planning and execution of change and culure programs
• Measure and monitor change – use questionnaires, surveys, focus groups, etc. to gather feedback and synthesize information to identify opportunities
• Utilize proven Change Management methodologies, processes and tools to execute change in addition to sharing understanding of the different types of change, change models and the association with project management
• Implement and improve Change Management best practice tools, methods and techniques for delivering the change plan
• Work on multiple change projects simultaneously
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 4-6 years of increasing responsibility in a Human Resource environment, with at least 2 years in Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Learning & Development or related field required
• 1-2 years facilitation experience with a strong presence and displays high levels of energy and charisma
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of professionalism
• Broad understanding about how change impact organizations, business divisions and functions
• Experience in organizational Change Management for a complex, matrixed organization
• Knowledgeable about behavioral change and aware of the latest thinking in behavioral science and culture optimization - to embrace new attitudes, adopt new behaviors & values
• Strong client stakeholder management and client facing experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations
• Strong proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and/or Google Docs/Sheets/Slides
• Strong instructional design experience using traditional and modern training methods (on-the-job, classroom, e-learning, simulations, etc.)
• Familiarity using eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate; Articulate 360, GoAnimate, Powtoons, etc. is a plus
• Prioritize and multi-task multiple projects successfully to completion; has superb follow-up skills
• Be resourceful, assertive, detail oriented, energetic and highly self-motivated
• Experience in delivering poised and polished presentations to large groups
• Resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure
• Work independently and within a team environment in a fast-paced, high energy environment
