Account Director, Programmatic & Data, Enterprise Sales
The Account Director will report into the Head of Programmatic & Data to uncover untapped programmatic dollars and grow existing partnerships. The ideal candidate has proven experience with ad exchanges, agency sales, client direct partnerships and programmatic technology. This role will also have direct association to the Division sales teams to work closely on developing integrated plans. Responsibilities include:
• Evangelize CN programmatic and data offerings to agencies, trading desks, DSPs, and brands
• Prospect, Present, Negotiate, Close and assist on execution of programmatic and data sales programs
• Monitor partner performance statistics, prepare and present materials on campaign status and/or recommendations for improvement and incremental spend
• Act as the main point of contact Condé Programmatic & Data for the region
• Collaborate with and support our national sales organization’s programmatic sales & data efforts, working closely with category leads on driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Leverage CN 1st party data and DMP solutions to drive programmatic direct and indirect revenues
• Work very closely with programmatic buyers on increasing spend within deals and uncovering opportunities for new business for the sales team
• Partner with Account Managers/Planners within assigned category to ensure best in class campaign setup and delivery
• Provide actionable market feedback regarding customer insights, competition and industry changes, to help influence continued development of sales and product/solutions strategies
• Assist in the development of sales collateral and positioning
• Own specific account list, overseeing the entire sales cycle
• Liaise with internal groups as needed to troubleshoot and deliver solutions to clients
Qualifications:
• Must possess 2-4 years experience selling programmatic solutions to brands, agencies and trading desks
• Proven track record of building relationships in the media/advertising industry and exceeding goals
• Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising technology ecosystem
• High energy, self-motivated and passionate about working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
• Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills
• Proactive self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
• Capability to thrive in entrepreneurial environment and start-up atmosphere
• Proven success selling programmatic products into brands, agencies, trading desks and DSPs
• Clear understanding of programmatic technology & data sales
