WEA Creative Services is a global full-service department that offers creative direction and support for WEA/ADA/WMG, artists and labels. We strive to enhance all areas of the business by providing concepts and expertise in design, visualization, and content to continuously match the evolution of the industry.
Why this could be your next big break:
Present concepts, imagery and design that represents WEA, ADA, WMG and all related labels as companies who are dedicated to aesthetic integrity, high quality and excellence in all that we produce. Produce thoughtful and visually appealing products and artwork for marketing campaigns, presentation decks, promotional products, magazine ads, merchandise, social media tools, training tools and other printed materials. Develop and expand skill set in areas of design, merchandise, music, digital and entertainment areas, as well as strategic thinking and conceptualization.
Here you’ll get to:
• Support all divisions of WEA, ADA and WMG with creative, thoughtful and stimulating art direction and design execution
• Understand and implement brand strategy for WEA, ADA and WMG
• Interface with a variety of internal clients to deliver creative, clear and concise feedback related to design plans and campaigns
• Create advertising and sales layouts in both digital and print mediums (ads, one sheets, ISP banners, convention signage, etc.) relating to music to spotlight WEA, its label family, and its top-selling projects
• Manipulate graphics as per request (scanning, retouching, color correction, file conversion)
• Develop and administer style guidelines for new branding initiatives
• Design and install art for office and event spaces
• Provide packaging and playlist cover designs for multi-artist, multi-label and catalog releases
• Traffic projects through approvals, production, distribution and archiving
• Work closely with Product Managers to ensure all project objectives are communicated and achieved
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• Have a Bachelor of Arts with concentration in graphic design related concentration preferred
• Have 3-5 years graphic design experience
• Be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office
• Have the ability to work in a variety of mediums including but not limited to print and web
• Have the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• In-depth knowledge of current and emerging trends in design
• Possession of a solid understanding of creative project management and have an in-depth understanding of design project lifecycles.
• Willingness to take on additional design and project management responsibilities driven by an ever-evolving business landscape.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
