Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
To provide a friendly and positive service to all guests, supervise slot technicians on their shifts, maintain all slot related equipment and maintain a good working relationship with floor people and slot supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Maintain smooth working relationship with the State Police.
• Complies and enforces all state and gaming regulations and company policies.
• Coordinates moves and conversions of slot machines.
• Monitors the data system that is connected to the slot machines.
• Handles guest disputes as necessary.
• Observes and evaluates technical personnel.
• Protects company assets.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Must have outstanding ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
• Louisiana Gaming License, LACT and/or TIPS card required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to lift heavy machinery.
• Must be able to stand at least 8 hours.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Will be working with wires in machines, and other mechanical parts.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and Internet Communications.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Eldorado from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
• Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Eldorado Attendance Policy.
• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work
