Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
The Direct Marketing Specialist is responsible for the implementation of property direct marketing programs. Serves as the principal liaison between corporate marketing and the direct mail vendor. Manages the direct mail work flow and email projects, providing superior service to both internal and external guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Uses Customer Relations Management tool/program (CRM) and Cognos software to run direct mail and email files.
• Uploads all groups and offers to CMS accurately and in a timely manner.
• Analyzes and assists properties and corporate with data analysis and interpretation.
• Works with advertising and direct mail agencies to establish drop dates for all mailers.
• Manage the work flow and production for all direct mail and email projects.
• Assists in constructing and maintenance the Revenue Build for assigned properties.
• Proofs the creative, press, and live proofs to ensure accuracy of the data.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in project planning and execution.
• Contract negotiation and change management skills.
• Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and public relations efforts.
• Requires excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Knowledge of developing and maintaining major quality and quantity databases.
• Computer proficiency and experience at an advanced level using Microsoft Excel, CR< software and AS/400 computer networks.
• Working knowledge of advertising agencies and direct mail houses.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
• Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time.
• Variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Two to five years’ experience in data base systems and equipment for high volume business or industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Valid gaming license as required.
