Amplify is looking for a Research Coordinator to join our team. The Research Coordinator will work as part of a research and product team on a supplemental literacy program. Take a look at our adaptive, research-based program here: https://www.amplify.com/curriculum/amplify-reading The hired candidate will coordinate and implement research studies as well as disseminate results of field research studies that provide support for Amplify's literacy products and services.
*This role is a contract role expected to end April 2019.
Responsibilities of the Research Coordinator
• Support creation of research partnership parameters and communications. This includes both efficacy and user research
• Work across teams (research, product, sales, and implementation) to identify candidates for research partnerships
• Act as account manager/point of contact for identified sites, provide materials, set up study logistics, check-in during data collection, schedule trainings, interviews, observations, and surveys
• Review, organize and report on qualitative and quantitative feedback
• Provide teams and stakeholders with progress reports
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications of the Research Coordinator:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in a customer support or account management role
• Experience coordinating across teams and with customers
• Experience coordinating research projects
Preferred Qualifications of the Research Coordinator:
• Bachelor’s degree in education
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Some knowledge of literacy development in the elementary grades
• Interest in the field of education
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
