We are seeking a Cloud Operations QA Engineer to be responsible for validation of the quality, performance, resiliency, and security of Bose's cloud-based services, which enable customer experiences across our devices (speakers, headsets, and home theatre), mobile applications, and cloud partners such as music services, voice personal assistants, and integrators.Bose is transforming the way audio devices interact with the Cloud, creating new experiences for connecting people to what they love the most, whether you are in-the-home or on-the-go. As a Software Services Automation Intern, you will build automation test experience in large-scale distributed systems, working closely with product development teams, system architects, and stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities for this job include:
Hands-on involvement in all phases of product development, including planning, design, implementation, and execution of automated tests, defect logging and verification, and reporting resultsParticipate in problem diagnosis, triage and prioritization, qualification of fixes, and root cause analysis
Design and develop automation frameworks and test suites to test the Bose cloud platform and services
Develop test automation across many perspectives: functional correctness, code quality, large-scale loading, transaction rate, chaos, security, business continuity
Implement, track, and report key metrics to assure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
Consistently improve test automation infrastructure and coverage
Champion quality throughout the development process
