Job Summary
Manages moderately complex vendor agreements and relationships. Delivers against corporate initiatives related to cost reduction, cost avoidance and vendor rationalization.
Job Description
• Negotiates or renegotiates new and existing agreements or statements of work of moderate complexity, including requests for information or requests for proposal. Prepares scope documents, communication plans, and contract awards. Actively partners with legal teams and stakeholders to develop and execute negotiation strategies that include optimal targets for pricing, service and quality.
• Assess vendor capabilities through requests for information, site visits, technical discussions, and quality audits in order to ensure that capabilities comply with company requirements.
• Facilitates established feedback processes for internal business owners regarding vendor performance.
• Tracks vendor adherence to contractual terms and conditions. Develops a vendor report card.
• Conducts periodic reviews of standard vendor contracts.
• Tracks and monitors expense management in alignment with cost saving goals and objectives.
Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office software.
• Experience with Contracts and negotiations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
• Telecom experience
• CPM/CSPM Certification preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work with their peers
• Self-starter
• Ability to influence and motivate others with new ideas and concepts
