We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join Snap Inc! As a member of the People team, you will be the HR face to Snap’s community providing best in class service across the company. You will be the HR face to Snap’s community. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with the HR team to answer a wide range of employee questions and help support various HR initiatives. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a curious mindset to learn and grow within an HR generalist function.
What You’ll Do:
• Serve as a point of contact to team members to help them navigate all aspects of HR
• Maintain the general HR inbox and provide timely responses answering questions and directing them to different cross-functional teams such as Payroll, Benefits, and Equity
• Support the HR Generalists and HR Team Advisors on projects and initiatives, such as promotion processes, talent reviews, performance management, policy implementation, and process improvements
• Process employee transactions updating trackers and systems
• Oversee our Snap-A-Wish program, which includes monitoring the email account, assessing situations as they come in, communicating with the appropriate HR Team Advisor, providing recommendations to requests, and tracking wishes/gifts
• Manage vendors utilized by the HR and Talent Development team which includes getting contracts prepared and executed, processing invoices and creating POs, and tracking spend
• Organize and update all employee files within Google drive
• Process background checks for new hires through TalentWise, monitor progress, and escalate concerns as needed
• Create verification of employment letters as requested
• Complete unemployment forms for ADP
• Facilitate employee I-9s during new hire orientation
• Handle initial intake of employee relations concerns
• Partner with cross-functional partners in Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, Equity, Immigration, People Operations, HR Compliance, and Employee Relations
Minimum Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in human resources
• Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Can manage and organize data in a way that makes it reliable and consumable
• Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships and work with all levels across an organization
• Great customer service skills with a passion for helping others using discretion
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic environment
• Able to handle confidential matters and sensitive data
• Able to work independently as well as operate in a team environment
• Can problem solve and create innovative solutions
• Problem solving skills with a can-do attitude
• Proficiency in Mac and Google applications, such as sheets, slides, and docs
