Job Summary
Prepare, analyze, and evaluate micro-targeted network investment business cases. Improve financial performance by identifying investments with superior return profiles. Help to aggregate micro-targeted investment decisions into a market level plan that aligns with go-forward financial budgets. This work will involve cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
Job Description
• Propose investment recommendations to management, gain funding approvals, and handoff business cases to implementation team.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define revenue and cost inputs, and to advance network investment strategy.
• Monitor post-implementation investment performance and generate feedback loop to improve future investment decisions.
• Work on high-visibility ad-hoc analytical projects, often as part of a dynamic team composed of data scientists and software development.
• Be a thought leader; identify opportunities to increase probability and drive process improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree(s) in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of experience or 2-3 years with a Master’s Degree.
• Strong experience with collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing financial data.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient building financial models.
• Ability to identify uncertainties with the highest impact on a decision and prioritize bandwidth accordingly.
• Creative thinker and inquisitive personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with others across operating departments and global regions.
• Telecom or tech industry experience helpful but not required.
• Strong track record of professional and academic achievement.
