JOB DESCRIPTION
The Programming Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and handling a variety of administrative duties in the Programming/Research department. Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel is expected and experience with Wide Orbit Program is a plus. Duties include answering phones, distributing mail, filing, photocopying, stocking supplies, processing work orders, maintaining various reports, maintaining schedules in the Wide Orbit system, sending schedules to appropriate people inside and outside of the company and assisting with other projects as needed. We are looking for a person who is passionate about content across platforms and on broadcast television. Must be detail and deadline oriented. Will interact with other internal departments. Experience in Broadcast TV Programming is a plus. This position reports to the VP of Programming/Research.
Advanced knowledge of Outlook, MS Word and Excel is required. Experience in an office environment, good organizational skills and good interpersonal skills are key. The ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure is also necessary.
