Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for redemption and issuance of marketing information, gaming currency, cash and coupons. Create and update player accounts, issue new player club cards, educate guests on club benefits and provide knowledgeable service to all guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for cashing customers’ tickets and chips, giving correct change, and other cash related transactions.
• Responsible for helping other departments with cash transactions, such as but not limited to, slot jackpots, table fills/credits and other departments needing cash for their guests.
• Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift.
• Verifying and documenting personal identification information as required for check and cash advance transactions
• Issues player cards for new and existing accounts while explaining benefits and other related perks associated with the players club.
• Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use computer, telephone, 10 key calculator, ATM/credit card machine, currency counter, embosser, printer/copier.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and multi-tasking.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.
• Ability to complete forms and perform basic math functions.
• Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in a disruptive environment.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels.
