The VP, Operations will be based in Stamford, CT and will report directly to the EVP of Global Sales and Head of International. This role is a tremendous opportunity for someone who is looking for an experience to assist in leading multiple lines of business in the global expansion and revenue generation arena that offers immediate engagement and impact on the performance of the WWE business. The VP Operations will be immersed in the heart of the WWE business and, in partnership with the department head, will have a direct impact on the future of WWE’s global business
This position will integrate with key leaders and partners across WWE to develop strategies and plans to drive execution of all business priorities. The ideal candidate will have an extensive business background and/or an MBA. They will also have a high customer service orientation and will be able to operate with tact/diplomacy at all times. Facilitate and Execute:
• Serve as a confidant and advisor to the EVP
• Assist and advise the EVP in developing and managing the short- and long-term strategic objectives of their department; maintain focus on process and progress against the objectives and ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate deliverables across multiple functions; lead and/or consult on complex project issues across multiple business avenues as appropriate
• Day-to-day focus on ALL facets operational details to ensure information flow is appropriate and internal/external stakeholders are managed accordingly
• Support and facilitate various key management routines, including weekly meetings, business reviews and communication between and among business leaders inside and outside of the EVP’s org
• Partner with Senior Executives to absorb day-to-day team, cross-business and executive tasks, including:
◦ Projects that drive efficiency in business performance and proactively identify areas of process improvement that will reduce rework and provide cost savings
◦ Ensure the proper allocation of EVP time to enable him to deliver on key objectives and focus on broader strategy and development
◦ Ensure the effective rollout of Company and Department Head initiatives
◦ Support Executive and Departmental communications including with Co-President and CEO level
◦ Understand operating policies and procedures necessary to ensure appropriate organizational decision-making protocols are followed
◦ Provide policy analysis and strategic consultation to the EVP and management on major issues affecting the department
◦ Maintain a high degree of discretion, prioritization, and project management skills, as well as the ability to influence and reach amicable and successful solutions
◦ Coordinate administrative tasks, and logistics
◦ Work closely with all members of the Executive Team and key subsidiary leadership to facilitate communication and support their requests of the EVP
◦ Work behind the scenes to solve problems, mediate disputes, and deal with issues before they require the EVP’s time
◦ Create strategic documents on behalf of the EVP for use with the Executive Management Team
◦ Ensure thorough preparation of remarks/notes for the EVP
◦ Assist the EVP in managing his work schedule and multiple commitments
◦ Ensure EVP is prepared in advance for all meetings and help him transition from his time on the road to his corporate responsibilities effectively
◦ Communicate:
◦ Manage the flow of information to and from the EVP
◦ Serve as the EVP’s primary liaison with management, staff, and external organizations and leaders (as appropriate)
◦ Inform and advise the EVP on all issues, internal or external, where the Vice President may see a potential conflict or future breakdown occur
◦ Oversee the drafting of communications (letters, emails, executive notes) on behalf of the EVP
◦ Must have excellent time management, writing and problem-solving skills and be able to provide support to the EVP
◦ Project Management:
◦ Help sustain a positive, entrepreneurial, and high performing culture to facilitate delivery of WWE’s strategic goals
◦ Represent the EVP’s interests in their absence when required
◦ Leadership of special projects on behalf of the EVP
◦ 24 x 7 availability
◦ At times, this role will be the departmental representative for the EVP
◦ Limited travel
◦ Support Executive and Departmental communications including with Co-President and CEO level

◦ QUALIFICATIONS :
◦ Bachelor degree and MBA required
◦ 5-8 years of experience in consulting, , finance or strategic planning
◦ Persuasive oral and written communication skills driven by solid business logic, and keen judgment on when, how often and when not to communicate to the
◦ Strong analytical and financial skills anchored by natural, common sense thinking
◦ Outstanding facilitator for cross-functional thinking to define complex issues, facilitate ideas, influence thinking, and build consensus around decisions or effectively lead discussion towards decision
◦ Strong experience interacting with and presenting to senior Executives, as well as the ability to work with senior leaders
◦ Project management skills to manage each strategic initiative being tracked
◦ Exceptional multi-tasking and prioritization skills
◦ Strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to lead/prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
◦ Self-motivated, able to independently structure and lead complex analyses, and possess a positive, can-do attitude
◦ The ability to give and receive constructive criticism, especially when initiatives are off-track, over-budget and/or behind-schedule; the ability to support the in holding individuals accountable, coaching and correcting performance, while fostering influential interpersonal relationships
◦ Poise and grace under pressure
◦ Finely honed communication skills – including the ability to communicate in writing and verbally with great precision and effectiveness:
