PRI is looking for a talented Account Supervisor to join our growing team. This position, based in Paramus, NJ, is a client services leadership and project management position requiring experience in medical communications and pharmaceutical marketing.
Job Overview:
The Account Supervisor (AS) is responsible for the leadership of a client services team in support of a strategic account including client relationship ownership and day-to-day management of medical communications programs. You will have direct and frequent client contact and will be responsible for participating in strategic exercise and discussions while ensuring that project deliverables meet time specifications and quality goals. You must have the ability to see the big picture, identify key issues, and provide proactive tactical recommendations.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing client strategy, tactical execution, client satisfaction, and business growth. The role requires the ability and willingness to collaborate with others to drive staffing, training and mentoring, business development, and cross-agency partnerships.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain positive client relationships with a focus on achieving client strategic objectives
• Oversee project management of all account projects with a high level working knowledge of all projects to assist in issue escalation/resolution
• Day to day management of medical communications programs – primarily live and content development
• Drive financial management, budget tracking, and reconciliation development
• Report project status on a regular basis to management, project team and client
• Assume other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position and can add value
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Minimum five (5) years medical education/communications experience (speakers’ bureau experience not applicable), preferably in an agency setting
• Management experience strongly preferred
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• > 25% travel domestically
• Experience working with pharmaceutical clients required
