Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort is located in Chester, WV. Mountaineer features slot machines, table games, live poker tables, a thoroughbred racetrack, an upscale hotel with amenities, spa, golf course, fine dining and entertainment, a theater and events center, and a convention center. We also have over 800 of the best Team Members.
Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Supports all promotions, events, and activities directed toward VIP players. Provides a high level of personalized service to all VIP players.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
• Assist guests to ensure a favorable VIP experience.
• Provides customer service and recognition to VIP players while working on the casino floor.
• Works at VIP special events and promotions.
• Retrieves information for new and existing accounts from CMS Player tracking system.
• Issues comps based on club tier and property guidelines.
• Answers telephone calls from patrons.
• Assist with slot tournaments.
• Assist all hosts with guest communications and correspondence.
• Maintains strict confidentiality relative to financial information, company policies and procedures, and team member and customer information.
• Managers VIP players, paperwork, and reports.
• Reviews VIP activities and promotions with Executive Casino Host.
• Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous casino experience preferred.
• Must obtain valid state gaming license.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Communicate appropriately with all casino guests, casino departments, and fellow team members.
• Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time.
• Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels.
• Must possess excellent communications and guest service skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
• Ability to obtain a valid state gaming license.
