Bose Professional Systems Division is looking for a Consultant Liaison to develop and maintain effective long-term business relationships with AV/IT and MEP firms. This position is dedicated to the Western half of the continental United States.
Responsibilities:
Create demand for Bose Professional products and services by raising their profile with the consultant community. Explain and demonstrate Bose products from a technical and business perspective. Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the consultants’ senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies. Document projects as possible for which Bose Professional products were specified within Microsoft Dynamics CRM for forecasting purposes. Serve as the primary technical resource for the consultant community within the territory. Leverage the Bose Regional Sales Engineers when greater technical expertise is required. Help to engage consultant community with the product development team to drive product requirements Engage with the territory sales managers and regional business managers to provide market intelligence, as appropriate. Coordinate with the global consulting team for strategic approach to global consultants and to coordinate on projects which impact other theaters. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
• 5+ years of professional audio expertise.
• Experience in the professional audio market including contacts with AV/IT and MEP consultants.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required.
• Have a track record of successful sales results.
• A team player but is capable of independently driving results.
• Hands-on, professional, sound system design, live shows and installation experience desired.
• Experience with acoustic modeling software, CAD software (AutoCAD, Sketchup, or similar), programming of professional audio DSP units and commissioning software tools (Systune, Smaart, or similar) is desired.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline such as recording arts & sciences, electrical engineering, or computer science; master’s degree is desirable.
Position is based in a home office with 50-75% travel required.
