OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY20th Century Fox
One of the world's largest producers and distributors of motion pictures, 20th Century Fox Film (TCFF) produces, acquires and distributes motion pictures throughout the world. These motion pictures are produced or acquired by the following units of 20th Century Fox Film: Twentieth Century Fox, Fox 2000 Pictures, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Fox International Productions, and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. During fiscal 2017, TCFF placed 25 motion pictures in general release in the United States. The motion pictures produced and/or distributed by TCFF in the United States and international territories in fiscal 2017 included Hidden Figures, Logan, Jackie, and The Boss Baby. TCFF has released or currently plans to release approximately 23 motion pictures in the United States in fiscal 2018.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
• Calculate “above the line” payments based on Guild contracts for television & motion pictures
• Employee master set up & payment info input to PeopleSoft Payroll System
• Frequent interaction with Fox Business Affairs, Guild representatives, business managers & agents regarding talent payments
• Respond to requests for information, research and resolve pay discrepancies timely and accurately
• Ability to process manual checks, check reversals, stop payments & paycheck adjustments
• Assist with Tax Credit Incentive inquiries
• Assist with Net/Net Adjustments
• Assist with training new staff
• Process improvements
• Knowledge of the various PH&W salary caps by union
• Perform related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Prior talent payroll experience
• Working knowledge of SAG, DGA, WGA & AFTRA contracts
• Ability to work autonomously and independently under pressure in order to meet deadlines
• Ability to work overtime when necessary
• PeopleSoft Payroll experience
• BA Degree preferred
• Excellent herbal & written communication skills a must
• Customer service focused phone skills required
• Detail oriented
• Strong mathematical ability
• Ability to handle high-pressure, deadline oriented environment
