Job Summary
The Manager Process Improvement leads and manages Process and Systems support team who is directly responsible for key focus areas of high level process design/audits, methods and procedures, systems requirements, automation development, production support, lifecycle support, user acceptance testing, and post launch support.
Job Description
• Provides subject matter expertise to create an end-to-end model and cross functional organizational support.
• Drives content management and documentation effectiveness
• Provides details for communications and training needs, monitoring key indicators of process quality, such as fallout, billing, ordering, channel effectiveness, and customer experience, while seeking opportunities for improvement
• Identify areas for opportunity to drive efficiency through automation and create requirements documents needed to document those changes.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team to exceed objectives. Identifies opportunities for synergies and leads through implementation of efficiencies. Communicates and models the CenturyLink Unifying Principles.
• Responsible for staffing and hiring of all team members in assigned work group to support effective managing and monitoring of work within the team. To include, meeting deadlines, achieving work quality expectations and supporting appropriate distribution of work functions within the team.
• Additional responsibilities include accountability for staffing, budget, resource allocation, prioritization of projects, quality and contribution of output, communication of corporate strategy, ensures compliance, escalation path to senior leadership, influences strategic direction to all levels of management and cross functional teams, employee coaching and development and performance management.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 8+ years of related experience
• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral, written and presentation development/delivery skills
• Successful completion of the Manager Assessment
• Management of/experience working with IT professionals
Preferred Qualifications
• Channel operations experience
• Knowledge and experience in both ENS and CRIS systems
• Master’s degree and 6+ years of related experience
