Job Summary
The Client Engagement Manager is responsible for qualifying, coordinating and driving the overall solution development for large Enterprise Business Solution deals. The CEM works with the entire account team to qualify potential opportunities and move the deal through to Close and Implementation.
Job Description
• Qualify incoming opportunities for Sales Engagement, as nominated by sales and technical/operations management.
• Partner with sales force to uncover and develop large new logo opportunities.
• Balance and prioritize multiple opportunities.
• Package and present large opportunities to upper management via review boards such as Deal Review and War Room.
• Guide and prioritize technical and operational resources to ensure focus on agreed upon top opportunities.
• Lead the execution of our consultative approach, Transformation MethodologySM in coordination with the Solution Consulting TM Center of Excellence
• Lead and document pre sales project plan calls/meetings on an ongoing basis for the life cycle of the opportunity, including domestic and international teams.
• Partner with Offer Development and Legal teams to prioritize and structure customer agreements.
• Manage and allocate all of subject matter experts on a cross functional and company wide basis, so that the right combination of resources can be engaged to craft unique and winning solutions.
• Manager partners (third parties) who fill critical needs in terms of professional services or products.
• Develop and deliver customer facing presentations that show prospective customers how CenturyLink Business can transform their total information technology environments, inclusive of standard products and professional services.
• Achieve specified incentive compensation plan targets in terms of revenue and bookings.
• Transition the pre sales activities to the post sales Program Management Office or equivalent service delivery organizations.
Qualifications
• 7+ Years’ experience selling, developing, or designing high end customer opportunities sales in the IT infrastructure, hosting, networking, and application services space
• 2+ Years’ experience in Coordination/Project Management of large and complex IT solutions
• Strong financial skills on pricing opportunities, structuring agreements, and demonstrating ROI and TCO to Clients
• Strong oral and written communications skills

• BS or BA Degree in Business or Technical discipline
